The Hockaday Museum of Art is a fine arts museum, housed in a turn-of-the-century Carnegie Library building, that features rotating exhibits of the art and culture of Montana and Crown of the Continent: Glacier National Park Gallery, a permanent exhibition of collectibles and works by the significant authors, photographers, and painters of Glacier National Park. Children will enjoy a Discovery Gallery with hands-on activities that change in theme along with the rotating exhibits. The Off the Wall Gift Gallery has unique pottery, jewelry and other artwork created by local artists, as well as cards, prints, and books about the art and culture of Montana. The Museum holds Arts in the Park, an art and music festival the fourth weekend in July. Admission: Adults/$5, Seniors 60+/$4, College Students/$2, Children K-12 admitted free due to generous support by Pacific Steel & Recycling.
